Boost for Mernda Villages Kindergarten

Mernda’s young families are set to benefit from a grant to enhance the playground at Mernda Villages Kindergarten.

The Member for Yan Yean, Danielle Green, said she was delighted to have secured $4,577 for Mernda Villages Kindergarten to help build a cubby house for children of all abilities.

The funding was secured under the Andrews Government’s Minor Infrastructure and IT Grants Program.

“Mernda Villages Kindergarten will use the money to establish an all abilities cubby house and enhance the playground,” Ms Green said.

A total of $1.22 million in grants will assist kinders across Victoria upgrade their facilities and IT.

“Our Government is making Victoria the Education State, and it begins with giving every child the best start in life. We want all Victorian kids to reap the rewards of a first-rate early years education,” Ms Green said.

“This grant is a win for Mernda kids and families,” she said.
