Students in Yan Yean will soon have access to the brand-new classrooms and facilities they deserve, with work underway expanding Hume Anglican Grammar, Donnybrook Campus.

Member for Yan Yean, Danielle Green MP, today turned the first sod to start construction on Hume Anglican Grammar, Donnybrook Campuses’ $5 million expansion, which will help deliver 21st century learning facilities.

The expansion will see the construction of an upper primary learning hub (years 5-6 centre) at the Donnybrook Campus.

Hume Anglican Grammar, Donnybrook Campuses’ expansion will create local jobs, with work expected to be completed by early 2022.

In the past five years, the Labor Government has invested more than $9 billion in more than 1,600 school upgrades – creating more than 10,000 construction jobs – and is now ahead of schedule in its commitment to open 100 new schools by 2026, with 48 new schools opening between 2019 and 2022.
